Swedish is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Deep 
Brain Stimulation team. The
Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the multidisciplinary team 
(neurosurgery, neurology,
physiatry, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation) to provide 
peri-operative patient care for DBS
and Spasticity patients. This includes pre-operative assessments and 
testing, intra-operative,
and post-operative acute care, as well as long term clinical follow-up.

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required. A current WA State Medical 
RN, a WA State Medical
AP License and Federal DEA Registration are also required. A 
qualified candidate will
demonstrate advanced nursing practice that incorporates Neurosurgical 
nursing standards,
regulatory requirements, best practices, an interdisciplinary 
framework, outcomes research,
and advances in technology that support efficient and effective 
patient care. A competitive
candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working in an 
acute care neurosurgery setting.

This is a regular, part time (0.70 FTE), day shift position and is 
eligible for our full suite of
