Job Summary: Provides palliative care services to patients and family 
members. Assesses,
plans, implements, delivers and evaluates program services to meet 
needs of patients,
stakeholders and align program with corporate strategic plan.

Qualifications: Requires a Master's Degree in nursing. Current RN 
license to practice in NC
(NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license. Current unrestricted 
NC license as a Nurse
Practitioner. At least two years nursing experience in an acute care 
hospital, preferably in
Oncology, or Med Surg. One year experience as a Nurse Practitioner. 
Thorough knowledge of
general palliative care nursing, psycho-social, and spiritual needs. 
Certification with the
National Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses Association within two 
(2) years of hire.
