Our Employee Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (day 
hours and 40 hours per
pay period). This new position will collaborate with our EHS team of 
professionals in delivering
Occupational Health programs to include but not limited to integrated 
disability and workers
compensation management, return to work and pre-placement assessment, 
drug testing,
respiratory protection, ergonomics, and wellness.

Responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, and initiating 
treatment of minor illnesses,
injuries, accidents, and exposures following OHS protocols with 
ongoing contacts with client
and client physician to promote optimum care and rehabilitation as 
needed. Assesses
employee return to work status for both personal and work injury 
concerns, working closely
with department leadership to guarantee a safe and appropriate 
return. Guides and counsels
clients with health and/or emotional or substance abuse problems, 
seeking referrals to
appropriate agencies as necessary to reduce health risks.

Qualifications:

*Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
* Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner certification required.
* Certification in Occupational Health preferred
* 3-5 years experience in public health and/or occupational health preferred.
* Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
