Nurse Practitioner

Swedish Visiting Nurse Services (SVNS) is actively seeking a Nurse 
Practitioner to join our
team. The Diagnostic Nurse Practitioner is responsible for developing 
policies, procedures and
clinical practices for Nurse Practitioners within the SVNS team. This 
position will act as medical
resource and provide episodic work-ups as needed for hospice 
patients. Additionally, this
position will create NP clinical policies, processes and perform 
Face-to-Face evaluations of
hospice patients to determine hospice eligibility at certification 
periods due to the new law in
2011.

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required. A current WA State Medical 
RN, a WA State Medical AP
License and Federal DEA Registration are also required. A competitive 
candidate will
demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, communication skills in a 
diverse population,
leadership ability and the ability to work effectively with the 
physical and emotional development
of all age groups.
