Busy medical weight loss Internal Medicine practice looking for 
experienced Nurse practitioner.
The position is full time with a high base salary, medical benefits, 3 
weeks' vacation, 1 week
CME + bonus potential.

The position involves seeing both Internal Medicine patients as well as 
medical weight loss
patients, but the primary duty will be in our weight loss program. As 
such, we are seeking someone
who not only is comfortable and has experience in a primary care 
setting; we are also seeking
someone who has a personal working understanding and interest in fitness 
and nutrition. The
medical weight loss patients we work with have multiple co-morbid 
conditions including Diabetes,
CAD, Hyperlipidemia, Metabolic syndrome, GERD, HTN, Fatty liver disease 
and so on. The staff
working with these patients is expected to have knowledge and 
understanding of these conditions
as well as be a credible example of what it is to be fit and healthy - 
ideally even having a
passion for fitness in their personal lives. You would be working 
directly with RNs who also have a
belief and passion for fitness, health and working with patients to 
improve their health, reduce
their co-morbid conditions and reduce medications through medical weight 
loss. We also have 3
full time fitness trainers on staff and fitness equipment onsite.

Computer skills are a must as we use an EMR. Patient load typically 
averages at least 20-25
patients per day.

We are seeking a high caliber individual who brings good character, 
clinical experience, and
high energy and is able to work well with patients. We would consider a 
new grad as well, if they
are a good fit for the practice, though the starting salary would be less.

This is a very unique position in a practice that has grown from 1700 to 
nearly 6000 in the last 3
years. We are looking for someone who wants a secure, high paying job 
for the long term.
