Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire (formerly Luther Midelfort) is 
seeking a
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive 
direct and
indirect patient care across the continuum of care. If you're looking

medicine combined with community feel-- then the Spine & Neurosurgery
department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire is the place for 
you! You will
join a team of neurosurgeons where you will partner in a 1:1 model of 
care focusing
on general neurosurgery adult care in a combination of hospital, clinic, 
and
operating room coverage. Our neurosurgeons practice "state of the art" 
medicine,
have equal earning potential from the beginning, have their office in 
the only hospital
they cover, and share a close working relationship with their neurosurgery
colleagues at Mayo Clinic.

*Call* schedule includes 10 days/month: weekends 1:4
Position is 40 hours/week;*4.5 days/week*; general day hours

*Site Information*
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire is a physician-directed, 
250-physician,
multispecialty clinic and integrated hospital. A Mayo One emergency medical
helicopter is based in Eau Claire offering surrounding communities 
access to the
area's only verified Level II Trauma Center. Mayo Clinic Health System 
in Eau Claire
has a highly respected cardiovascular surgery program, chest pain 
center, primary
stroke center and the most orthopedic specialists in the area, as well 
as offers a
full range of medical services through a network of community-based 
healthcare
providers in numerous locations throughout West-Central Wisconsin.

Locations include: Barron, Bloomer, Cameron, Chetek, Chippewa Falls, 
Colfax,
Eau Claire, Menomonie, Mondovi, Osseo, Prairie Farm and Rice Lake.

*Qualifications:* Active Wisconsin RN license or eligibility to practice 
professional
nursing in the state of Wisconsin; National Certification (e.g. ANCC or 
AANP);
Current prescriptive authority in the state of Wisconsin (APNP 
certification) OR
Licensed, Registered or Certified in the state of Wisconsin and a 
graduate of
accredited Physician Assistant Program; NCCPA Certified.

Certifications required: Current BLS Certification

*Preferred:* Neurologic or neurosurgical nursing experience OR Surgical 
Technical
skills*
