Cardiovascular NP needed in coastal South Carolina for a locums or 
locums-permanent
position

Assignment duration: ASAP until client finds a permanent provider; 
possibility of permanent
placement
8-hour day shift; some evening shifts, some call after 7pm weekdays, 
weekend call required
Surgical assisting in the Cardiovascular OR of a 600 bed Trauma Center
Patient load: 1000 cardiothoracic & vascular cases per year; 3 CVOR rooms
Duties include: surgical assist and maintain expertise in a variety 
of surgical cases;
communicate with surgeons, nurses, OR techs, OR leadership and support staff;
Perform and document all aspects of assigned care;
Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling that reflects variable demands 
of service including 'Call';
Participates in informational meetings, attends in-service activities 
and educational
opportunities
2 In-House PAs
Experience required: 2 years of clinical and 1 year of surgical assisting
Transportation, mileage, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided
SC license required
