The Swedish Pain and Headache Center is one of the largest pain centers 
in the
Pacific Northwest. We treat more than 1,000 patients each month, 
utilizing the latest
research and techniques. The management of pain has improved 
dramatically in
recent years with the introduction of new drugs, devices and treatments. 
The
Swedish Pain and Headache Center has been at the forefront of research in
developing many of these advances.

We are actively recruiting a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our 
team. The Nurse
Practitioner will join a team of Providers known both nationally and 
internationally for
their pioneering work. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for 
chronic pain
management in the outpatient setting, complex and acute pain management
consultations in the inpatient setting, prescribing opioids and treating 
patients for
pain-related illnesses to include fibromyalgia, arthritis, headaches and 
back pain.

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required. A current WA State Medical RN 
and AP
License are required along with Federal DEA Registration. A competitive 
candidate
will have an understanding of pain medicine, excellent communication 
skills and the
ability to work effectively with all age groups. Recent graduates are 
welcome.
