*NURSE PRACTITIONER *

*Two Openings:*
Family Practice Clinic -- Clayton NC (Part-time 24 hrs weekly)
Project Access Clinic -- Smithfield NC (Part-time 16 hrs weekly)

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a primary health care provider who is 
licensed in the
State of North Carolina. The NP is approved to provide quality patient 
care in
Johnston Health clinical practices by the Credentials Committee. The NP 
services
include but are not limited to ordering, conducting and interpreting 
appropriate
diagnostic and laboratory test, prescription of pharmacologic agents and 
treatments
and nonpharmacologic therapies. The NP will be supervised by the Medical 
Director
and Practice Manager. The NP will act as collaborative provider and 
promote a team
working relationship with the staff of Johnston Memorial Hospital and 
Johnston
Family Care Centers.

Nurse Practitioner must have a Master's Degree from an accredited 
university
which meets the requirements and approval of the North Carolina Board of 
Nursing.
The NP must also be approved by the Credentials Committee of Johnston
  Memorial Hospital.
