*Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant *

*Appointment Status **
**Regular, 10-month position (full-time August 15-June 15, 0.833 FTE). *

*Responsibilities *
Medical Care: Within scope of practice, provide primary medical care to 
students,
including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and management of general 
medical
problems; Provide patient education. Collaborate with other CHWS members.
Provide medical care to students at a remote site for three day new student
orientation program. Consult with staff, faculty and parents about 
health and
medical issues of students. (82- 85%)

Program Management: Two or more of the following duties: Contribute to the
development and maintenance of health and wellness programs/outreach to the
campus community; supervise the Health Education Student Assistant and
provides oversight of bulletin board displays and maintenance of CHWS
brochures; occasional web updates as needed; manage OSHA, WISHA, and
CLIA policies and procedures including annual staff training on blood borne
pathogens, universal precautions, and infectious waste management; serve as
HIPPA Officer; administer annual provider chart review; maintain clinic 
forms.

Participate in Division and other University meetings, projects and 
committees;
participate in educational training/workshops on campus; professional
development; service to the profession; other duties as assigned. (8%)

*Qualifications *
Baccalaureate degree (Masters Degree preferred) and national board 
certification
as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), Family or 
Adult Practice.

Licensed to practice in the state of Washington, including DEA license.

Two or more years experience in primary care, including patient education,
college setting experience preferred.
