*Women's Health Center of Southern Oregon*, located in the heart of the 
Rogue
Valley, is a 6 physician premier women's center providing OBGYN care to the
women of Southern Oregon. We are excited to better meet the needs of these
women by expanding and improving our OB services and offering hospital 
based
midwifery care. We plan to start this new service by inviting to our 
group 2 advanced
practice midwives who desire hospital based practices. The first midwife 
position
requires a minimum of 3 years hospital based midwifery experience with an
accredited nurse practitioner midwifery degree. The second position is 
open to an
enthusiastic, eager learner that has successfully completed or will soon 
complete
a NPMW program. Both professionals will need excellent provider relation 
skills,
the ability to publicly promote the many benefits of midwifery care, and 
outstanding
patient performance scores. Our joined practice model will be based on 
the ACOG
and Midwifery joint practice statement guidelines that can be found at
