Johnston Health is seeking a part time Nurse Practitioner for Project 
Access.

Project Access of Johnston County has been in existence since 2007. Dr. 
Charles
E. Williams of Horizon Family Medicine is the Medical Director. Dr. 
Marilyn Pearson
is the Asst. Medical Director. Project Access is a volunteer physician 
initiative that
provides health care services to low income and uninsured residents of 
Johnston
County.

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing quality patient 
care, in ordering,
conducting and interpreting appropriate diagnostic and laboratory test, 
prescription
of pharmacologic agents and treatments and non-pharmacologic therapies. The
Nurse Practitioner acts as a collaborative provider and promotes a team 
working
relationship with the staff of Johnston Memorial Hospital and Johnston 
Family
Care Centers.

Nurse Practitioner must have a Master's Degree from an accredited 
university
which meets the requirements and approval of the North Carolina Board of
Nursing. The NP must also be approved by the Credentials Committee of
Johnston Memorial Hospital.
