*Nurse Practitioner -- Internal Medicine (Skilled Nursing Facilities)
*

*Hours: Full-time, M-F *

Function as a Polyclinic nursing home mid-level provider to provide 
short and
long-term medical management to primarily geriatric population, in 
skilled nursing
and long-term care facilities.

*QUALIFICATIONS:
Education*: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing;
Completion of Nurse Practitioner Course of Study.

*Certification/Licensure:* Current Washington State nursing license and 
ARNP
licensure with prescriptive authority.

*Experience: *
1. Three to five years of professional experience as a nurse 
practitioner in Geriatric
Care.
2. Clinical expertise in cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, chronic 
condition
management and other multi-system illnesses.
3. Working understanding of Medicare regulations and management of managed
care populations.
4. Palliative care and end-of-life medical management experience preferred.
5. Experience with HMO and insurance plans preferred.
6. Experience with electronic medical record system(s) desirable.
