Swedish Edmonds, a 217 bed medical center just northwest of Seattle 
serving the
beautiful beachfront city of Edmonds, is actively recruiting a qualified 
Nurse
Practitioner to join their pain clinic.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide interventional pain management for 
chronic
pain patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including 
taking history and
performing physical assessments. This person will also participate in 
the call
rotation.

A Master's Degree in Nursing is required. A current WA State Medical RN 
and AP
License are required along with Federal DEA Registration. Completion of an
accredited Adult and/or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner pathway or 
completion of an
ANP/ANCP post-master program also required. Current ANCC certification 
in pain
management preferred; if not currently held, must obtain ANCC 
certification within
one year of hire. Current ACS and BLS certifications required. A 
competitive
candidate will have an understanding of pain medicine, excellent 
communication
skills and the ability to work effectively with all age groups.
