In celebration of our upcoming 10 year anniversary we are expanding our 
services--
our multi-office practice will be opening a third office as well as 
providing behavioral
health services. *We are looking for two Full-time, permanent Nurse 
Practitioners
to grow with our growing practice.* (9-2012)

Our practice is located in the Upstate of South Carolina. Affordable 
cost of living,
lack of traffic, accessibility to the highway and variety of amenities 
has encouraged
RAPID growth with projected expansion tagging it as a bedroom community 
to the
larger areas while still maintaining its charm. *Multiple higher 
learning centers
including two medical schools and a chiropractic school* bring an influx of
educated individuals to diversify this community. One can live in an 
urban setting or
the quiet countryside. *Large hospitals* offer care options as well as a 
surprising
number of specialists. Within a few miles of each practice location 
there are 3
private schools as well as an extensive assortment of extracurricular, 
outdoor and
fine arts activities. Enjoy cultural and sports events as well as quite 
experiences
with nature. *A four hour or less drive* separates you from miles of 
beaches and
islands, 100s of historic landmarks, famous hiking trails, and many of 
the United
State ’s most famous tourist attractions. This is the perfect location 
to raise a
family or expand your world as a single adult.

Our office was an early pioneer in using *electronic medical records 
*and we now
have a highly efficient system in process. The candidate that would be 
successful
in our environment must be comfortable typing medical notes and learning 
new
electronic approaches to handling medicine in the changing times. To 
shine in our
environment a candidate will draw energy and fulfillment from treating 
*a population
that is in much need of medical education.* This involves building bonds 
with
patients and their families over multiple visits throughout the year as 
well as being
able to fit community outreach into one’s approach to being a caregiver. 
*NP MUST
have Prescriptive Authority. *

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package being offered, With sign on 
bonus and
moving expenses, holiday pay, PTO/sick pay, funeral, jury, medical, 
dental and vision
insurance allowance, short term disability allowance given, moving 
assistance,
401K, CME allowance, all licensing, *100%* credentialing and malpractice 
fees, close
contact with office managers and an open forum approach to office 
improvements. *
ALSO…because our practice falls in the guidelines for government
reimbursement candidates may be eligible to apply for 75K LOAN REPAYMENT
with NHSC after one year full time employment with our company and after
criteria are met with the NHSC site registration. *No in-hospital work 
or attendance
at C-sections required. Phone call Triage volume is very minimal (2-5 
calls per night)
and only requested a few nights a month.

Carolina Pediatric Associates started in 2003 and has grown rapidly to 
meet the
needs of the community. We treat patients ages 0-21. We pride ourselves 
on having
a team focused, supportive office staff . We do not tolerate office 
politics or stressful
dynamics. You will not find another employer who is as easy going and

Dr. Carling, both towards his patients and his staff. He is described by 
his colleagues
as "patient", "a great teacher" and "impossible to upset". He finds 
fulfillment in
training including new graduates. He often sponsors training of 
midlevels and
medical students. He is extremely community oriented and enjoys treating 
patients
in his office as well as working with the schools, hospital and 
community agencies to
expand parent and patient education.

Two major needs in pediatric medicine are behavioral health treatment 
and obesity
and wellness issues. Our practice strives to constantly improve our 
treatment methods
in these two areas of focus. We are looking for a nurse practitioner who 
understands
the issues rural practitioners face and the diverse needs of our patients.
