*Emporia State University's Department of Student Wellness *is accepting
applications for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide 
primary
medical care to students in our Health Services clinic, full time for 12 
months. The
practitioner provides evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management 
of general
medical problems; writes prescriptions based on approved protocols and 
state
regulations, provides patient education and works collaboratively with 
Health
Services and other Student Wellness staff. Requires Advanced Practice 
Registered
Nurse (APRN), Kansas licensure upon employment. Prefer candidates with 
career
goal of working with college students, including providing prevention 
education and
outreach. Salary range is $80,000 to $85,000. Background check required.
