*Fulltime Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Portland, OR) *
Pain Management Practice, Portland, OR

Well-established pain management practice has a full-time opening for a 
Nurse
Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Portland, OR. The selected candidate's
responsibilities include: comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting 
and
interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a diagnostic impression, 
developing and
implementing a treatment plan for functional improvement, monitoring the
effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, prescription of 
pharmacological agents
and non-pharmacological therapies, and offering counseling and education to
meet patient needs. The practice has carefully set guidelines to help 
with rational
treatment and prescribing. Careful attention to local coverage 
determinations
pre-procedure, utilizing the practice tools and information that are in 
place, and
communication with patients, supervising physicians, referring providers 
and
practice staff are essential.

*Qualifications: *

.New graduates are welcome to apply.

.Licensed/certified or eligible in state of Oregon.

.DEA certificate and prescribing and dispensing privileges in Oregon.

.Flexibility and ability to adjust schedule to meet patient needs.

.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

.Strong computer/EMR skills preferred.

.NCCPA certified-NP

.Graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant Program-PA
