*Nurse Practitioner *

*Coastal Carolina University is seeking a Nurse Practitioner.*

Duties include, but are not limited to: providing assessment of 
patients; performing
physical examinations; providing prevention and maintenance for stable 
chronic
illnesses; and providing patients with information regarding procedures, 
medicines,
risks, or benefits that may be involved in treatments.

Requirements: Master's degree in nursing and five (5) years of clinical 
experience
required. SC license as a registered nurse with recognition as an 
advanced practice
RN (nurse practitioner) by the SC Board of Nursing required. 
Additionally, a
successful candidate will have: extensive knowledge of physical assessment,
differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of 
acute
chronic patient issues; strong gynecology skills; and the ability to 
develop and
implement programs for the Student Health Center.
