The WA State Department of Health, Nursing Care Quality Assurance 
Commission
is searching for a qualified health professional to fill the position of 
Nursing
Consultation Advisor - 50% (DOH2132).

This position represents the DOH and NCQAC on statewide projects and work
groups relating to Advanced Registration Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) 
licensing,
discipline, and practice issues, health policy development and 
formulation, and rule
writing activities. S/he acts as a liaison among NCQAC and stakeholders;
administers the advisory opinion/interpretive statement process for ARNP 
statement;
administers the technical assistance program for all ARNP's in the state of
Washington. This position participates in legislative process by 
responding to and
developing bill analyses, testimony, and fiscal worksheets. S/he acts as 
staff to the
ARNP sub-committee of the NCQAC, and works with the Nurse Practice 
Advisor on
RN issues.
