*NURSE PRACTITIONER -- Palliative Care **

*North Colorado Medical Center, located in Greeley, CO*, is ranked in

nursing excellence. NCMC is a 378-bed regional tertiary medical center, 
Level II
Trauma and Level III Nursery, serving patients from a four state region.

*North Colorado Medical Center's Palliative Care Program* now includes a 
board-
certified physician, a nurse practitioner, and a social worker. NCMC is 
hiring a
second nurse practitioner because of increasing demand for services -- 
the relief of
pain, stress, and symptoms in patients and families dealing with serious 
illnesses.
Currently an inpatient consultation service exclusively, the Palliative 
Care Program
will add an office component soon and in the future may see patients in 
long-term
care facilities and at home.

*NURSE PRACTITIONER -- Palliative Care*
Will conduct consultations with patients within hospital.

*FULL TIME -- Monday -- Friday 8 am -- 5 pm with some rotating weekends *

*_Qualifications:_*
* 1+ years of experience in Hospice or Palliative Care as a NP
* Licensed RN and NP for the state of Colorado
* Licensed DEA with prescriptive authority
* Flexible with travel for some home care patients
* NP experience in an acute setting
