**Practice Opportunity **
**Neonatal Nurse Practitioner *

*Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota* is the largest high-risk 
referral center in the
Upper Midwest. The neonatal services program at Children’s provides 
tertiary and quaternary
care through our Level III, II and step-down care units with a combined 
bed capacity of 171
between our Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. Additionally, Children’s 
provides outreach
neonatal coverage in several surrounding hospitals in the area. Services 
include consultation
and assessment for emergency and continuing care of premature and 
critically-ill infants. Our
multi-disciplinary team of over 20 neonatologists, 60+ neonatal nurse 
practitioners along with
a full spectrum of medical specialists sees over 1,900 neonatal visits 
per year. Our neonatal
program is the fourth-largest in the U.S. and has been consistently 
recognized for having
survival outcomes amongst the best in the world.

/*We are actively recruiting for NNPs to join our team.*/ Our NNPs 
function collaboratively with
the supervising neonatologists to coordinate the patient care needs of 
the high-risk newborn
population at Children’s. The NNP collaboratively manages the critically 
ill infant’s care using
expertise and evaluative tools to address the overall medical management 
of the infants. Our
NNP’s provide care through Level III, II, and step-down care units 
within our system, so in
addition to providing care at our Minneapolis and St. Paul Hospitals 
they also provide coverage
and support at peripheral sites within the Twin Cities. We are looking 
for individuals who have
the ability to work well independently and as a team member and who will 
uphold NNP best
practices in all practice environments.

/Qualifications:/ Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited NNP 
program, certification by
NCC as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, MN RN licensure with APRN 
registration, current BLS
certification, current NRP certification. Two years level III NNP 
experience preferred.
