(HIKING, FISHING, CRABBING, CAMPING, BOATING, OCEAN BEACHES - OPTIONAL)*

*Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH)* on Washington State's beautiful, 
gridlock-free N. Olympic
Peninsula is seeking a full-time (36 hours/week), experienced 
*Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner*
to perform initial psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication 
management, and consultation
and liaison services within scope of practice. Incumbent will join 
collegial team of Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioners and medical support staff, led by our Medical 
Director, who is Board-
Certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry.

Founded in 1971, PBH is a mid-sized community mental health center (98 
employees; $6M
budget) nestled between Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de 
Fuca --- /"Where the
Mountains Meet the Sea!"/  Enjoy our many nearby attractions, or drive 8 
blocks to the waterfront
and hop aboard a ferry to beautiful Victoria, British Columbia.  When 
you crave traffic gridlock
and parking fees that are unavailable in Port Angeles, Seattle is only 
2½ hours away. We offer

Repayment Program.

_Required:_  Washington State licenses as Registered Nurse and Advanced 
Registered Nurse
Practitioner - Psychiatric Mental Health; DEA Certification for 
Scheduled I-V drugs; excellent
diagnostic, interpersonal, and time management skills; ability to learn 
and use Profiler
electronic records system and Infoscriber medications management system.

_Preferred:_ Credentials and licensure to treat children and adolescents.
