Family Medicine of Port Angeles (FMPA) is a medium-sized, 
physician-owned, single-specialty
group providing high-quality Primary Care and Obstetrical Care for 
residents of the North
Olympic Peninsula.

FMPA was established in 1979 and has grown steadily to become the 
12-provider independent
group that it is today. We have 5 ABFM-certified Family Physicians, and 
7 mid-level providers
(ARNPs and PAs) offering the full range of primary care services to a 
service area of over
40,000 people.

We have embraced and embodied the "medical home" model for over a decade 
and were the
first practice on the Olympic Peninsula to adopt an EMR in 1997. We 
participate in a nation-wide
consortium of high-performing practices that measures and reports 
objective quality outcomes
quarterly - and are among the top 10% in the nation. We are affiliated 
with the University of
Washington School of Medicine as a training site for medical students 
and residents, with
regular teaching rotations. We transitioned into a newly constructed, 
state-of-the-art facility on
the Port Angeles waterfront in 2010.

Port Angeles is located on the North Olympic Peninsula, approximately 2 
hours west of Seattle,
and 90 minutes by ferry from Victoria, British Columbia. It is nestled 
between Hurricane Ridge
in the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It is a 
place of incomparable beauty
and limitless opportunity for outdoor activity including hiking, 
fishing, skiing and biking. It has a
thriving arts community, and a nationally recognized school music program.
