*Pain + Wellness Center of Maryland (Waldorf, Maryland)* is recruiting a 
Nurse Practitioner to
join its practice.   Our practice specializes in treatment of acute and 
chronic pain, sports
injuries and neurologic disorders. We are looking for a Nurse 
Practitioner that has experience
in a holistic approach to medical management of acute and chronic pain, 
including a
knowledge base of alternative therapies, in addition to medication, for 
treatment of pain.

We are looking for a part-time nurse practitioner to work three (3) to 
four (4) days per week.

The Nurse Practitioner will perform the following duties:
* Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients;
* Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures;
* Provide patient education;
* MSK diagnosis and treatment;
* Able to identify the need for joint injections and comfortable 
providing them;
* Help with exercise plan, trigger point injections / dry needling;
* Ultrasound experience is a plus;
* Collaborate with physician in managing acute and long-term medical 
needs for patients;

Qualified candidates will have:
* RN license and license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Maryland;
* Previous NP experience in pain management or internal medicine setting;
* Computer skills and experience working with Electronic Medical Records 
system;
