*Practitioner in the Counseling Services Department *

*Position Description:*
This position specifically supports the mission of the university by 
providing psychiatric
assessment and treatment, emergency management, prescription and 
management of
medication, psychosocial and physical assessment, treatment planning, 
and patient
education to students seeking psychiatric services. The PMHNP has a 
focus on psychiatric
diagnosis, including the differential diagnosis of medical disorders 
with psychiatric symptoms,
and on medication treatment for psychiatric disorders. The PMHNP would 
work in collaboration
with physicians, nurses, psychologists, counselors and other staff of 
both the Health Center
and the Counseling Center and provide psychiatric consultation to staff 
members providing
clinical services to patients in these areas.

*Qualifications:*
A Master's degree in Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner 
program, three years
of relevant work experience and a Christian faith are required. Five 
years or more of relevant
work experience is preferred.
