RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE!!!!!!

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opening in Portsmouth, VA at the Naval 
Medical Center
Portsmouth (NMCP).

Provide medical management of neonates in the Nursery and Level II 
Nursery and other areas
to include neonatal resuscitation, conventional ventilation, stabilize 
and maintain Level III care
prior to transport, prescription of medications (including controlled 
substances), to treat
neonatal medical.

Must be a Graduate of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Education Program; 
possess Pediatric
Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and Neonatal Resuscitation 
Provider certification
(NRP) and have completed at least 12 contact hours of continuing NNP 
education within the
preceding 24 months.

Possess a Minimum of 1 year FT experience as a NNP within preceding 2 
years, possess a
minimum of 1 year broad experience in Level 3 Neonatal ICUs and 
experience in both
newborn nursery and delivery room setting within last 2 years.

Possess a Master’s, Post-Master’s or Doctorate degree from an advanced 
practice nursing
program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting 
Commission (NLNAC) or
the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Possess certification as a NNP by the American Nurses Credentialing 
Center (ANCC) or
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
