*Certified Nurse Practitioner (Oncology)*

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Practitioner to work 
full-time alongside our
dedicated team of health care providers in an oncology/hematology office 
located in Dublin
and Castro Valley (San Francisco bay area).

A strong applicant must be computer savvy, able to multitask, work well 
under pressure, have
excellent communication skills and possess a positive can do attitude.

*Responsibilities and Qualifications for this position include (but are 
not limited to):*
* Caring for patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies in 
collaboration with on-site
Oncologists.
* Assisting in the evaluation and treatment of patients
* Conducting patient interviews, and collecting and interpreting 
diagnostic data.
* Performing physical examinations and specialized procedures under the 
direction of a
physician
* Ordering laboratory and radiology studies, chemotherapy, and 
prescription medications
* Documenting the delivery of care in the individual's medical records
* Educating patients in areas of procedures, pharmacology, 
self-management of side effects
and available community resources
* Counseling patients and families
* Performing related responsibilities as required.

*Education & Certification Requirements:*
- B.S.N
- California Registered Nursing License (Current)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (Current)
* OCN preferred

Candidates should be flexible and friendly with clients and staff. The 
ability to work
independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing 
priorities is a must. Respectful
communication when problem solving is essential.
