*NURSE PRACTITIONER or PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT – Buffalo General Hospital *

*GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:*
Responsible for providing cardiology care services, including assessing 
and managing patients in the office following established standards and 
practices.

*MAJOR RESPONSBILITIES:*
Instructs patient regarding medications and treatments. Educates 
patients regarding health and illness prevention. Provide monitoring and 
continuity of care between office visits. Triage patient telephone calls 
and provide consultation.

*EDUCATION: *
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Cardiology 
experience helpful.
