UW Medicine’s Northwest Hospital and Medical Center *is seeking ARNPs* 
who are interested in practicing in an all nurse practitioner practice 
providing community-based primary palliative and supportive care in the 
North Seattle area. Candidates must be Board Certified in adult-gero, 
family, or geriatrics, hold an unencumbered license to practice in 
Washington, and have a current DEA number.

NWH’s Primary, Palliative and Supportive Care Practice provides primary 
and palliative care to frail elders and people with a life-limiting 
illness in their primary place of residence (private homes, assisted 
living facilities, and adult family homes). Primary Care Nurse 
Practitioners in our practice are also granted admitting privileges and 
admit hospice patients to NWH. All ARNPs in our practice perform 
inpatient palliative care consultations on a rotational basis.

In addition to the primary and palliative care position listed above, we 
are also currently seeking a psychiatric mental health NP with 
experience in geropsychiatry, depression, grief, and loss. This unique 
PMHNP position will provide geropsychiatric consultation for people with 
dementia who reside in the community, as well as provide patient and 
family support around issues of grief, loss, delirium and other 
conditions commonly seen in palliative care. Our PMHNP will also see 
palliative care patients hospitalized at NWH.

and mileage reimbursement.

* BC as AGNP, FNP, GNP (2 positions)
* BC as PHMHNP (1 position)
* Clinical experience required
* Experience with EPIC preferred, other EMR experience a plus
