Hours:
* M-F 7a to 5p
* No weekends or work after hours

We’re is seeking a Health Center Manager Nurse Practitioner to manage 
the operations of our on site Health Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This 
health center is focused upon delivery of preventive and proactive care 
services.

As a Health Center Manager Nurse Practitioner you will have both 
clinical and staff management responsibilities. You will conduct exams 
and develop treatment plans for injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic 
conditions. This includes performing diagnostic testing, prescribing 
medications, and performing minor surgical interventions, when needed. 
Patient education is a big focus, so you will play a key role by 
counseling patients on preventive care, medical issues, and use of 
prescribed medications. Your staff management activities include 
proactively addressing issues, determining schedules and allocating 
resources appropriately, and assessing performance to ensure effective 
patient care. You will also provide coaching around performance, 
complete performance reviews, and provide development planning, while 
creating a respectful work environment.

*Basic Qualifications:*

  * Master's Degree in Nursing or equivalent relevant work experience
  * Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in state of Pennsylvania
  * At least 5 years of experience in Family Practice, Internal
    Medicine, Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care or
    Urgent Care health center setting
  * At least 3 years of Health Care operations management work experience

*Preferred Qualifications:*

  * Doctorate in Nursing
  * Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certifications
  * Experience working with a Wellness Program or promoting Employee
    Wellness activities
  * Ability to suture

*Expectations:*

  * Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
  * Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed
    by local regulations
  * Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security
    policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding
    corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent
    and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  * Perform other responsibilities as needed
  * Must live in or near the Pittsburgh, PA area
