*Required Qualifications:*

Current NYS RN license. Master's Degree in Nursing. Licensure as an 
Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner. Three years of nursing experience to 
include cardiology. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

Additional years of nursing experience in cardiology.

*Responsibilities & Requirements:*

The Nurse Practitioner will perform medical examinations, make 
diagnosis, dispense medication and order standard laboratory and x-ray 
procedures, evaluate procedure results and refer abnormal findings to a 
physician.

  * Pre-Procedure workups including history and physical, ordering
    relevant tests and coordinating services needed on procedure day and
    post procedure care.
  * Device clinic (monitor patients with implanted heart devices, ie:
    pacemakers/internal cardio defibrillators).
  * Inpatient rounds - seeing patients for arrhythmia consults

*Special Notes:*

This is a non-tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible 
for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to 
occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
