Providence Medical Group North. Position is on-call, days, 8a-5p.
Required: Licensed or <br>
licensure eligible to practice nursing in the state of Oregon; Master's
Degree Psychiatric <br>
Nursing; specialty certification through professional nursing
organization; five years nursing <br>
experience with three years in the clinical specialty area; professional
leadership skills in <br>
teaching and program development. Prioritizes work and manages time;
communicates <br>
effectively with the health care team, and throughout the organization;
establishes therapeutic <br>
relationships with patients and families; demonstrates effective problem
solving skills; <br>
establishes vision for nursing and quality patient care; demonstrates
effective planning for <br>
change. The Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist Liaison is an
autonomous professional who, <br>
under the Department of Mental Health & Chemical Dependency, promotes
quality patient care <br>
as an expert clinician, consultant, educator, and role model to
medical-surgical units of the <br>
medical center. Serves as a liaison between Department of Mental Health
& Chemical <br>
Dependency and Nursing Services to promote integration of mental health
concepts in the <br>
nursing care of medical-surgical patients through the provision of
nursing consultation and <br>
development of interdisciplinary treatment approaches. Also coordinates
transfers of medical-<br>
surgical inpatients requiring admission the mental health inpatient
units. Performs other <br>
related duties as assigned by the Medical Director. Salary: $34.90 to
