Job Description:</b> <br>
* Autonomous practice <br>
* Provide comprehensive healthcare <br>
* Perform complete history, physical exam and assessment of patients
<br>
* Provide for follow-up assessment of the therapeutic response to the
plan of care <br>
* Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to augment physical
findings <br>
* Interpret data and diagnostic tests for appropriate course of action
<br>
* Formulation of nursing and/or medical diagnoses <br>
* Develop and manage a health maintenance plan, including health
education appropriate to <br>
the patient <br>
* Utilize appropriate pharmacological agents in the treatment of illness
in accordance with the <br>
rules regarding prescriptive authority recognition as outlined by the
State Board of Nursing <br>
* Arrange referrals as needed to other members of the healthcare team
<br>
* Accurately document care provided <br>
* Serves as educator, counselor, advocate, and resource person to
patients <br>
* Maintain competency in procedures and current certification through
continuing education <br>
* Use evidenced based practice as a basis for practice <br><br>
Minimum Requirements:</b> <br>
* Master’s degree in nursing <br>
* Completion of ANA accredited Nurse Practitioner Program <br>
* Current License in the State of work <br>
* Nurse Practitioner Recognition by the State Board of Nursing <br>
* Certification in Basic Life Support <br>
* Prescriptive Authority <br>
* DEA License <br>
* Nurse Practitioner Certification <br><br>
