Nurse Practitioners<br>
in Dalton, Georgia. <br><br>
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to
impact the lives of <br>
employees of a major Northwest Georgia employer. This healthcare delivery
model allows <br>
NPs to utilize their skills, education and training to implement
individualized plans of care for <br>
employees and act as a healthcare coach for individuals with chronic
conditions. <br><br>
The Nurse Practitioner will facilitate chronic disease management, offer
basic primary care <br>
services and provide patient education to employees of a major Northwest
Georgia employer <br>
at on-site chronic disease management and primary care clinics. The
mid-level provider will <br>
diagnose, treat, prescribe, refer and manage health issues of employees
while working <br>
under the supervision of an area physician. This healthcare delivery
model affords the <br>
provider the autonomous means to exercise their skills developed through
education, <br>
experience and training to truly impact the health and well-being of the
patients in a personal <br>
and meaningful way. <br><br>
Services are delivered in on-site locations and directed by the
overseeing physician with a <br>
pre-determined set of practice protocols and guidelines. The NP will not
be responsible for <br>
managing or treating Worker's Compensation cases. <br><br>
Individuals interested in this position must meet the following
qualifications: <br>
* Ability to build strong relationships with patients and area providers
<br>
* Willing and able to work a schedule that will NOT require “on call”
hours, but will be <br>
structured to meet the needs of employees working in a manufacturing
environment <br>
* Completed usual advanced Nursing education with training in the
diagnosis and <br>
management of common medical conditions <br>
* Current license in the state of Georgia and board certification <br>
* At least 3 years of professional experience <br>
* Wellness-minded <br>
* Computer literate with ability to utilize electronic medical records to
maintain notes. <br>
* Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team which
includes, but is not limited to, <br>
Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Occupational Health Nurses <br><br>
