experienced Nurse Practitioner. This position is based in the Cardiology
Department of a <br>
Geriatric Clinic located at the Peoria Campus of the Arizona Medical
Clinic. This beautiful <br>
facility provides primary care and specialty services as well as Lab,
Radiology and a new <br>
Women's Center for Mammography.<br><br>
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing quality healthcare
services in the clinic. In <br>
addition to the primary emphasis on care of the patient, the Nurse
Practitioner’s duties will <br>
also include, but are not limited to, providing patient assessments
through patient exams, <br>
patient medical history, interpretation of required diagnostic procedures
and developing/<br>
implementing treatment and management plans of the outpatients under the
direction of the <br>
Medical Director. This position requires working closely with physicians,
nurses, and other <br>
clinic staff. <br><br>
Requirements:</b> <br>
* Current Arizona RN license <br>
* Current Nurse Practitioner with certification in specialty area in the
state of practice <br>
* Skill level typically achieved with 3-5 years of clinical expertise
working with this specific <br>
patient population <br>
* Demonstrates or will acquire proficiency in computer usage, i.e. word
processing, charting, <br>
data analysis and literature searches <br>
* Requires ability to communicate effectively with others <br>
* Exhibits a high degree of professional demeanor and interpersonal
relationship skills <br><br>
