The University of Kansas Physicians, the largest multi-specialty medical
practice in the Kansas <br>
City area, is seeking a full time ARNP to join the Department of Plastic
Surgery: <br><br>
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our multi disciplinary team
of plastic surgeons,<br>
trauma/critical care surgeons and 2 nurse practitioners to work in burn
and wound surgery. <br>
The candidate will work in both our newly remodeled burn and wound clinic
managing burns, <br>
complex wounds and performing surgery follow up as well as in the burn
unit managing both <br>
critically ill and noncritical burn patients. <br><br>
The ideal candidate will be board certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse
Practitioner with a <br>
background in critical care. Additionally, the candidate must be able to
function with a high <br>
degree of autonomy in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The
candidate must obtain <br>
ACLS, ABLS, ATLS and DEA licensing within six months of hire. The call
responsibility will be <br>
one day per week and one weekend per month. <br><br>
The salary is competitive nationally and there is additional opportunity
for production bonuses. <br>
Allowances for CEU's and licensing are covered by the department. The
comprehensive benefits <br>
