(Candidates with previous heart transplant experience as an
RN, NP, CNS or PA <br>
strongly preferred)</b> </big>
<p><big>We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse
Practitioner to coordinate and <br>
organize the evaluation, intro-op and post operative care of
patients for possible <br>
heart transplant candidates. The Provider will work with
numerous physicians, <br>
organ transplant agencies, operating room, intensive care
and emergency room <br>
staff, as well as the patients and their families. The
qualified candidate will work <br>
cooperatively with physicians and other advanced practice
professionals to provide <br>
specialized care for patients before, during and after the
heart transplant along the <br>
continuum of care of outpatient to inpatient 24 hours a
day/7 days a week. They will <br>
also be responsible for coordinating the evaluation process,
educating patients <br>
and families, assessing each patient, facilitating the
scheduling of studies or <br>
procedures and many other duties as assigned. This position
is demanding but <br>
financially rewarding with a <b>$10,000 sign-on bonus and
the base salary starts at <br>
$93,000-$100,000 plus $60.00 per hour on-call pay!
(Depending Upon Experience).</b> <br>
