<p><big>We are currently seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner in
San Diego, CA. </big></p>
<p><big><b>Description:</b> <br>
The adult/ geriatric Nurse Practitioner functions
independently, but with the Supervising <br>
Physician collaboration and back-up. The NP/ Physician
Clinical Team will visit a variety of <br>
skilled nursing facilities and provide medical management to
skilled and custodial nursing <br>
patients. The NP will be responsible for periodic night
call, as well as rotation on weekend <br>
call. Thorough understanding of managed care delivery
systems and utilization management <br>
is essential. </big></p>
<p><big><b>Qualifications</b> <br>
* Masters’ degree with emphasis in adult/ geriatric program
<br>
* State certification as adult/ geriatric nurse practitioner
<br>
* 3+ years experience <br>
* Strong background in geriatric and/ or internal medicine <br>
* Current CPR certification <br>
* Furnishing number <br>
* Demonstrates ability to work independently <br>
* Managed care experience <br>
* Experience in geriatrics and skilled nursing facilities
preferred </big></p>
