<big><font size="2"><big>Spokane Emergency Physicians (SEP) is
seeking an experienced Family Medicine or <br>
Pediatric ARNP to staff the Pediatric Emergency Department at
Providence Sacred Heart <br>
Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
</big>
<p><big>The Pediatric Emergency Department currently has 22,000
visits a year and has 24 hours of <br>
physician coverage and 16 hours of midlevel coverage per
day. </big></p>
<p><big>Staffing will be in the intermediate care area of the
Pediatric ED, and the successful applicant <br>
will be expected to see a large variety of pediatric cases
and be comfortable managing the <br>
occasional higher acuity patient. </big></p>
<p><big>Opportunity exists to also provide care in our adult ED,
a busy Level 2 ED with 80,000 <br>
visits/year. </big></p>
<p><big>Position is salaried with bonus and benefits. </big></p>
<p><big>We have a large geographic referral area including
eastern Washington, eastern Oregon, <br>
northern Idaho and western Montana and are the Level 2
trauma center and the only pediatric <br>
trauma center serving our referral area. The large referral
area with a mix of urban and rural <br>
areas provides for a diversity of interesting cases. </big></p>
<p><big>We have a full complement of responsive pediatric
subspecialists, including 24 hour <br>
pediatric hospitalist coverage. </big></p>
<p><big>The Children’s Hospital has 177 beds, including 20 PICU
beds, and serve both as the <br>
community and tertiary hospital for pediatric patients. </big></p>
<p><big>We moved into a new dedicated 18 bed Pediatric Emergency
Department in January of 2013. </big></p>
<p><big>SEP is an independent, stable, collegial combined group
of 31 adult and pediatric <br>
emergency physicians and 8 midlevel providers. </big></p>
