Reading Health System is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner
to work in our new Intermediate Unit (IMU) once Reading HealthPlex
opens in January! Reading HealthPlex will be our new
state-of-the-art facility for comprehensive surgical and patient
care that will provide an unparalleled patient experience in one of
the most technologically advanced healthcare centers in the region.

The new 476,000 square foot building will add new surgical suites,
private patient rooms, and an all-new Green Roof while paving the
way for the existing Emergency Department and Trauma Center to be
expanded by 21,000 square feet.<br>
<br>
The IMU Nurse Practitioner will support the Hospitalists to actively
co-manage patients in the intermediate unit. The Nurse Practitioner
will work approximately 14 to 15 twelve hour shifts (7am-7pm;
7pm-7am) to provide 24/7 coverage.<br>

<strong>Position Requirements:</strong><br>
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Required)<br>
• MSN (Required)<br>
• AANP Certification (Required)<br>
• BLS Certification (Required), ACLS Certification (Preferred)<br>
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (Required) <br>
• Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License
(Required)<br>
• CRNP Prescriptive Authority (Required)<br>

Reading Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare center
providing comprehensive acute care, post-acute rehabilitation,
behavioral, and occupational health services to the people of Berks
and adjoining counties. Established as The Reading Dispensary in
1867, the Hospital has since expanded into a leader in tertiary care
for this region of Pennsylvania.<br>

Township, physician office complexes in West Reading, Exeter
Township, and Spring Ridge. The latter campus also features a
surgicenter, weight management center, and hyperbaric and wound care
