[NPInfo] Invisible people at Southwest Airlines

   NPs and PAs:

To me, airlines are like brands of milk. In other words, they are all alike. I, like almost all travelers, consider them flying buses, and the cheapest one is the best one. In such a regulated industry they'll all the same, to me.

Buying a ticket from Tampa to Baltimore, as I regularly do, at "sky bus" prices, I noticed something new on the Southwest website. They have an edit input for title of the traveler, and include all kinds of professional titles, but not NP or PA.

Hearing on NPR that Southwest is a customer service company that happens to own airplanes, I thought that a letter-writing campaign from us would quickly cause Southwest to add our professions to their professional titles list. Will you please take 3 minutes and a stamp to send a letter to their contact below and ask that they add both "NP" and "PA" to their list of professional titles? (I didn't find an email address for customer service).

Thanks! In the least I hope we will no longer be invisible people when we fly Southwest.
