[NPInfo] "Watch" in clinical as an NP student?

It is an expectation at Stony Brook... that NP students NOT "watch" during  
clinicals... that they "manage" patients!
 
"Watching" doesn't prepare one for practice!  Such a placement is  
unacceptable. Students must be empowered to tell university faculty this is  so.... 
University faculty must be in contact with preceptors to mutually guide a  
student's learning experiences.
