[NPInfo] What is the true Definition of Medicine

both these definitions of medicine. & "medicine".......both are nouns.......no one body can "own" this definition....the practice of "health care" includes medicine in its definition.......so, healthcare (to me) is far broader in reach....and this is what Advanced Practice does..........so...we're capable of far more then just "the practice of medicine"...(my opinion). I beg someone to tell me the difference here?.........or is this a lesson in semantics?
