I have been an RN for $34 years and have never heard of any RN  earning  the 
$67-69 an hour you are quoting anywhere in the country.
 
 Here in So. Calif., where the salaries are pretty high to compensate  for 
the costs of housing, RNs in hospitals get $26-35 an hour for the first 8  hours 
then time and a half for the last 4 hours. As the Director of OB last  year, 
I got $39 an hour for 40 hours a week. Some registries are paying $35-42  an 
hour for L&D for the first 8 hours.
