physicians may start describing as "An articulate male mid-level" )

Has anyone noticed that the more vocal physicians are either affiliated
with academia, owners of large practices that employ others to work for
them, or have little to no previous exposure to NPs or PAs? But then
again, who else has the time, since most physicians, NPs and PAs are
busy trying to treat patients in the rapidly growing un or under
insured, and are too busy trying to make ends meet to spend days trying
to push their own agenda to expand their income! If they are so good,
they should not need a "Bill", or further laws to protect their part of
the pie, or is it they are not as secure as they would like everyone to
think.
The G-D complex of the 1960s-90s is something I am sure they would all
like back. It was nice to be placed on a pedestal, cut lines, have
people look at you with envy, nurses offer you their seat after standing
over patients for 8+ hours, and get all these things from society
because you were a "physician". I hate to tell them, but when my
computer is down, or my car needs major electrical diagnostic work, they
become the one that I need the most at time, and without their skills
and care, the "doctor" has a long walk. When are these people going to
see what is really around them, and drop the facade.
It is time to cooperate and work together for the benefit of all of us,
period. Marty
