Any idea how many times you might get called? Has anyone taken call before
to be able to tell you how often they got called? How long does the average
visit take or would these be "emergency" visits? Finally, how far would you
possibly have to travel if you got "called out". I took 24/7 call for our
county jail for 4 straight years, but never had to go their. Let me know
these questions and I'll let you know how I figured it out.

The average calls per day would be 2-3.( for the emergency calls). The issue
is that we would be covering 3 counties. The farthest distance from a
central location could be 40 miles. We would stay in a hotel, The average visit
would be 1 hour.
I covered for two weeknights and had a call each night.Total time 3 hours to
call and back. There is also issues of safety and traffic.
It seems the pay they offered is not even hourly for the day hours.
Thanks for any assistance.
Margie
