[NPInfo] Plantar Fasciitis

Scott--
Can the bottle be chilled first or room temperature? Your prescription sure
beats the rest as it can actually be a 3-for-1... if it's iced it works on
inflammation, the rolling stretches the fascia, and the innerds help with
pain relief. All in one handy package!!

Or in the South we try and drink a bottle of Wild Turkey and then roll the
bottle under said foot. Pain seems to ease a bit......Amazing thing modern
medicine.....

Also try rolling the foot with sock on, over a soda bottle (20 Oz.) filled
with water that has been frozen, for relief of symtoms associated with
plantar fasciitis.

If it hasn't already been tried, the PTs at work recommend rolling the foot
over a tennis ball to adequately stretch out the fascia. I wish my MD and
podiatrists had told me THAT simple and inexpensive tip the 3 times I
suffered from months of plantar fasciitis!

Hi Bev-

Plantar fasciitis is tough to get rid of. I've had several patients who
sleep at night with a cowboy boot on the affected foot. They swear by it!
But of course, they've also had injections, NSAIDs, do the exercises, etc.

Good Luck!

Anyone have any suggestions for plantar fasciitis treatment after 2
injections and still pain.
What kind of device could assist with dorsiflexion at night? What type of
boot is it --- is this worth trying?

Thanks.
Bev
