Wow, Sue you got a great deal!!  That is Dell's top of the line PDA!

Dena and Rose: FWIW, I emailed my contact at Palm to basically say "In case
you guys didn't know it, your new user's initial experience with your
product is that it is not user-friendly.".  Maybe it'll help for the next
guy.

I have the Dell Axim X51v.  It was listed on the Dell site for $499 
(http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/category.aspx?c=us&category_id=4327&cs=1

and I got it for $354.95 
(http://www.ecomelectronics.com/viewcat.phtml?g=3&c=3) .  After you asked, I

thought perhaps I had incorrectly recalled the Dell price online- but just 
checked and those are the figures.  It appears the ecomelectronics.com site 
doesn't have a large selection, but I was looking for the X51v anyway.  I 
have a limited experience, but was pleased with the service.  Within an hour

of placing the online order, they called to confirm and to offer accessories

that I wasn't interested in purchasing.  Within 48 hours, it was at my 
doorstep.

Dena - I have an owners manual and am experiencing some of the same 
questions that you are.  I think they write those things for people with a 
minimum understanding that I certainly do not possess.
