[NPInfo] 'Little Clinic' set to open at Publix in Wellington

I agree - I don't see a difference between this or CVS-based Minute Clinics.
There is a large, Michigan-based grocery store chain, Meijer, that has
pharmacies. I recently was offered and almost accepted a position at one of
their in-store clinic. In fact, one member of this list is employed with
them. Interestingly, the Michigan, Meijer store based clinics are not owned
by Meijers, but by a very enterprising nurse practitioner. I was very
impressed with the clinics and the level of professionalism and care that
they seem to provide. The pay was competitive and I saw no evidence of 'use
and abuse' of NPs. While I can't speak for Publix specifically, I don't
think one can assume that is a bad thing.
