[NPInfo] BON visits

Dena,
It is because in our backasswards state, the Medical Board rules.  PHysician supervisory statutes are virtually identical for NP's and PA's.  The actual auditing (and potential disciplinary actions) is the function of the NC Medical Board.  There is a joint committee of the BON and the Medical Board but it appears to me that our nursing members are ineffectual in promoting our cause.  So, the "they" in Paula's post is the medical board.
